About the Role We are looking for a Head of Total Rewards to lead our Benefits and Compensation teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the total rewards strategy for a growing company on the path to IPO. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of compensation and benefits best practices. What You’ll Accomplish Strategic Leadership:

Prepare the company for IPO readiness, including setting up an ESPP program. Serve as a strategic partner to the Founders and Senior Leadership Team. Develop a comprehensive total rewards strategy that balances competitive offerings with financial responsibility. Compensation Management:

Design and implement competitive compensation structures (base salary, variable pay, incentive plans). Develop an executive compensation strategy to retain top leadership. Ensure transparency in communicating compensation philosophy to employees. Benefits Strategy:

Oversee design and management of health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefits. Analyze and improve ROI on benefit programs, focusing on active program management and cost reduction. Performance and Compliance:

Maintain compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations (including Canada and India). Achieve 80% satisfaction rate with performance and compensation processes. Reduce talent attrition through competitive rewards (measured by exit interview reasons). Reporting and Analytics:

Monitor and analyze program effectiveness, including ROI on specific programs. Manage costs within budget constraints. Report outcomes to leadership and employees. Hinge Health Hybrid Model We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field 10+ years of experience in benefits and compensation planning 5+ years experience managing a team Experience leading total rewards at a late-stage venture funded company or a public company Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree Ability to think outside the box and the normal benefits playbook to develop benefits strategies for managing a self-funded health plan Experience working both at a pre-IPO company as well as a public company Ideally, someone who has gone through an IPO process and taken a company public Compensation This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
