Title:

Epic Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics Developer/Analyst Contract Term:

6 months Contract On-Site Requirements:

100% remote. This consultant will provide end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions in the Epic Cogito Clarity Custody Health space, especially on Ambulatory, Inpatient, Regulatory / State required fillings, Quality and related metrics. The role requires consultant-level communication skills, the ability to coalesce related requests and offer solutions that satisfy multiple requirements, and Software Development Life Cycle discipline: gathering & documenting and confirming requirements gathering, designing solution, obtaining SME signoff, coding, testing/validation, UAT, & documentation. Required Skills & Abilities:

Minimum 3 years of Epic Clarity Data Model (EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient (IP)) analytics development. 5+ years of SQL query and stored procedure development experience. Working knowledge of Epic tools such as Slicer Dicer, Cogito SQL, Radar. Strong ability to work directly with operational clinical leaders, project office, clinic staff and other stakeholders. Strong ability to work collaboratively with Epic, and County Epic application builders to capture official workflow documentation efficiently and accurately. Strong communication skills to document and communicate with analytics and other TSS management on status, risks and issues. Ability to transition work, train, and provide mentorship to junior developers on best practices, perform SQL code reviews, and peer reviews of deliverables. Ability to follow Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle standards for Unit Test, Peer Test/Review, SME Validation and production migration and publishing. Desired Skills & Abilities:

Strong experience creating Stored Procedures with Clarity data in a clinical setting. Consultant level ability to adapt to changing workflows, and communicate to leadership changes in data based on workflow adherence. Epic Radar Dashboards created from Cogito SQL, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer or Metric Framework. Epic Inpatient experience: Admissions, Flowsheets, Discharge Medication Reconciliation, Quality metrics. Epic Ambulatory experience: Visits, Consults, Orders, Groupers. Experience creating Business Intelligence outputs in a Custody/Jail setting. Certifications:

Epic Clarity Data Model/Clinical or Financial (or legacy equivalents). POSITION 2:

Position Title:

Data Warehouse ETL Developer and Administrator (Epic) Contract Term:

6 months LOCATION:

Remote Certification must:

Resource will provide medical claims and payor data (eligibility, medical, vision, lab, pharmacy) Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) services using Structured Query Language (SQL) to: (1) migrate Claims processing from the County’s custom schema to Epic standard Caboodle schemas; (2) combine custom SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for Quality Incentive Program (QIP) Payor Data into one QIP master package; and (3) standardize and optimize QIP Claims eligibility processing. The role requires consultant-level communication skills, the ability to coalesce related requests and offer solutions that satisfy multiple requirements, and Software Development Life Cycle discipline: gathering & documenting and confirming requirements gathering, designing solution, obtaining SME signoff, coding, testing/validation, UAT, & documentation. Required Skills & Abilities:

Minimum 3 years of ETL development, at least one of which in the Epic domain a plus. Strong SQL development using best practice industry standards. Working knowledge of healthcare related financial and transactional files (including billing, eligibility, claims). Experience in building scalable data architecture. Experience in full data integration solutions with existing data architectures. Experience in importing from and to 3rd party agency or vendor data. Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining sustainable, scalable ETL processes. Must be a self-starter comfortable working under general direction (opposed to active supervision). Ability to follow Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle standards for Unit Test, Peer Test/Review, SME Validation and production migration and publishing. Desired Skills & Abilities:

Strong Caboodle development experience for both Epic and Non-Epic data. Strong Epic Clarity and Caboodle data model knowledge, including all financial aspects as well as relevant clinical aspects that drive coding and billing Healthcare financial data acumen. Certifications:

Epic Clarity / Caboodle Data Model and Development Certification(s). Position 3:

Position Title:

Epic Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics Developer/Analyst (Quality Incentive Program QIP) Contract:

6 Months Onsite requirement:

100% Remote Certification must:

Resource will provide end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions in the Quality Incentive Program (QIP) domain. Resource will: (1) assess, recommend, and implement Performance Year 8 (PY8) QIP metrics assigned by the County; and (2) support and maintain those metrics in preparation for PY8 audits. The role requires consultant-level communication skills, the ability to coalesce related requests and offer solutions that satisfy multiple requirements, and Software Development Life Cycle discipline: gathering & documenting and confirming requirements gathering, designing solution, obtaining SME signoff, coding, testing/validation, UAT, & documentation. Required Skills & Abilities:

Excellent SQL skills and familiarity with all clinical and financial coding tables. Metric experience with pay-for-performance programs like QIP or HEDIS Development of “playbooks” for standardized coding. Desired Skills & Abilities:

Experience with payor claims and eligibility data elements and structures. Infrastructural skills in designing, transforming and using data structures including partitioning, data cleansing, to enable metric-related efficient queries. Balance between data structure and query load. Ability to interpret specs independently, revaluate pseudo code, and question decision points as appropriate. Certifications:
