Our broad spectrum of practices and entrepreneurial spirit allow our staff exceptional opportunities for professional achievement and career growth.The Community Impact Assistant will be a temporary, part-time role and will be in-person (20 hours, 3 days per week- Tuesday-Thursday) and based in Palo Alto. The duration of this position is expected to last 10 weeks.The CI Assistant will provide administrative support for our Community Impact team, including supporting pro bono and community service programs and other community impact events and initiatives, including researching nonprofits, assisting with presentations, helping manage social media, and handling other projects in support of the CI team.Primary responsibilitiesProvide support for pro bono and community service programs and other community impact events and initiatives.Maintain and update case distribution and project interest lists.Research nonprofits and projects.Assist with inquiries.Assist with CI social media and CI Team Email & Updates (semi-weekly).Provide support for WSGives firmwide events, including awards, talking points, and vendors.Proofread all work with an eye for detail and accuracy.Assist with other projects as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma required.Experience in a professional environment preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAttention to detail.Takes initiative and is proactive.Strong organization and communication skills.Dependable team player.Professional manner and good judgment.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Proficient on social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location.
