THE ROLE: AWS Contract Capture & Marketing Sales Associate

Job Summary:

As an

AWS Contract Capture & Marketing Sales Associate , you will work with the SLED sales and capture team to identify, bid, and capture Amazon Web Services (AWS) business to build upon Presidio's contract portfolio and solution-based offerings. Upon award, the Contract Capture and Marketing Associate will help to market, promote, and evangelize Presidio AWS contracts.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote position. This position requires occasional travel (10% or less of hours).

Job Responsibilities:

Market Research & Analysis:

Research and analyze available data through research and market intel tools (i.e., Navigator Tool) to identify customer solutions needs and buying trends. Analyze data to uncover opportunities for expanding business development efforts and enhance marketing positioning relative to our AWS practice. In coordination with contracts, capture and marketing, create and execute strategies to raise awareness of AWS and other digital contracts. Track and identify customer acquisition plans and budgets to inform contract capture plans across SLED. Participate in the development and management of content to promote and evangelize Presidio contracts. Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

Business Development:

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aimed at driving AWS and cloud business growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the SLED market.

Required Skills:

Experience and knowledge with AWS bids and offerings (Public Sector experience is highly desirable). At least 3 years of contract capture and business development experience, preferably IT SLED experience. AWS foundation training and certifications are highly desirable.

Additional Desired Skills:

Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate digital marketing. Proven experience developing and executing comprehensive contract capture strategies. Skills in marketing - including creating high-quality, engaging content. Excellent communication and writing skills.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or military experience. At least 3 years of contract capture and business development experience, preferably IT SLED experience.
