The Study Coordinator will support an NIH-funded research study on the impact of racism burden on cardiovascular disease risk and neurocognitive aging in Black older adults. The role will require conducting phone calls with participants, verbal informed consent and screening, scheduling study visits, and coordinating with various study sites and team members. Responsibilities also include providing administrative and technical support (e.g., maintaining regulatory documentation, maintaining minor equipment), organizing and archiving datasets, assisting with tasks related to community engagement as needed (e.g., ordering supplies, maintaining an inventory of supplies), and supervising Work Study students as needed.
The candidate should have relevant prior experience in an academic research setting and experience working with a diverse research team and interacting with diverse groups of research participants.
