Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Palo Alto Network Engineer with expertise in configuring firewalls and managing routing protocols. This role involves configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls, creating VPN tunnels, and handling third-party connectivity infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco switches, routers, and access points, and will be responsible for commissioning and decommissioning network components, as well as managing service restoration and change requests.
Key Responsibilities
•Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, maintaining access policies for clients.
•Create VPN tunnels on firewalls and troubleshoot VPN-related issues.
•Work with 3rd party network and security infrastructure.
•Install and configure Cisco switches, routers, access points, and wireless LAN controllers.
•Configure and manage routing protocols such as RIP, RIPv2, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
•Coordinate with vendors for existing and new implementation projects.
•Handle service restoration, service requests, and change requests.
•Commission and decommission network components as necessary.
•Follow change control submission and approval processes.
Required Qualifications
•Hands-on experience in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
•Strong knowledge of routing protocols, including RIP, RIPv2, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
•Experience with 3rd party connectivity infrastructure network and security.
•Installation and configuration experience with Cisco switches, routers, access points, and wireless LAN controllers.
•Ability to handle service restoration, service requests, and change requests.
•Familiarity with change control submission and approval processes.
Certifications
•PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) certification.

Bachelors Degree
