Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team!
Specifically, we're looking for a Data Scientist with analytic development skills to support a highly visible cyber sensor and analytic modernization program. The candidate will work with a team to analyze and characterize large data sets, create data visualizations, and identify anomalous/interesting behavior. The successful candidate will have experience with analysis in the cyber domain and discovery operations, and have experience with algorithm design and development.
Required Skills:
Data science and machine learning experience
Experience with DataFrames (Pandas or Spark)
Experience incorporating SME input into feature vectors
Ability to produce analysis results and data visualizations that provide insight into dataset structure and meaning
Desired Skills:
PySpark and/or distributed computing
Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's and Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science).
Five years of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics, five years of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
An additional two years of experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics can be substituted for a Master's degree.
A PhD from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for three years of experience.
