Our client is seeking a Mainframe/Cobol Developer to join their team. As a Mainframe/Cobol Developer, you will be part of the development team supporting critical banking and payments systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications in a development team environment. Utilize Middleware technologies for application development, including messaging and web services. Work extensively with RDBMS technologies, particularly Oracle and SQL. Collaborate with multiple technology delivery teams, including Business Analysts, Architects, and Project Managers. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced associates within the team. What's Needed?
5+ years of strong development experience with Unix/AIX, Mainframe, Java/J2EE, and Oracle technologies. Proficiency in application development with a focus on Payments and Wires processing systems. Experience with UNIX and LINUX environments, including development toolsets like bash and Perl. Knowledge of banking and payments domain, specifically WIRE processing and compliance mandates. Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to emerging technologies. What's in it for me?
