About the Role
Culmen International is hiring a Sr. Program Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate and their Advanced Computing Branch (ACB). DHS is committed to using cutting-edge science and technology to make the United States more secure. The DHS S&T Directorate organizes and supports the scientific, engineering, and technological resources and applies these resources to produce and deploy technological tools and knowledge products to help protect the United States. ACB enables DHS's mission by researching key technology areas that include Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, and Modeling and Simulation. Primary work arrangement is telework, with the possibility of government funded travel to DC to support program functions (i.e., VIP meetings, classified work, and conferences/workshops).
What You'll Do in Your New Role
Assist DHS Program Managers in the execution of their programs within the ACB Portfolio and coordinate with Program Stakeholders across the Homeland Security Enterprise.
Assist with defining requirements, provide input to scope, schedule, and budget based on an understanding of the program lifecycle; provide configuration management of program baselines; monitor deliverables; prepare and review documents and plans; and conduct quality reviews of projects, tasks, and deliverables. Assist in drafting various documents supporting a procurement. May participate in research in support of studies and analysis. Draft and review white papers and briefings, and present recommendations and reports to a technical and / or non-technical audience, domestically and / or internationally. Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and participate in DHS workshops and conferences.
Required Qualifications
Experience in DHS S&T Directorate Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience Master's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience Advanced certifications may be used in lieu of a Master's Degree Technical Writing Experience U.S. Citizen Active Secret Clearance with ability for DHS Suitability
Desired Qualifications
Experience in Science and Technology research, development, and transition of technologies or capabilities in the Federal Sector. Experience supporting Data Analytics or Artificial Intelligence Programs.

The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $84,000 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
