Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, providing fast and friendly service while accurately handling customer transactions. If you have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping people, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately scan, price, and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions. Ensure the correct handling of returns, exchanges, and refunds.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain cash drawer balance, perform end-of-day reconciliations, and follow all cash handling procedures.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about store products, promotions, and policies to assist customers effectively.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean and organized. Assist with stocking shelves and other store duties as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all store policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong numerical ability, and attention to detail.
  • Attributes: Friendly, reliable, honest, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
