Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately scan, price, and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions. Ensure the correct handling of returns, exchanges, and refunds.
- Cash Handling: Maintain cash drawer balance, perform end-of-day reconciliations, and follow all cash handling procedures.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about store products, promotions, and policies to assist customers effectively.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean and organized. Assist with stocking shelves and other store duties as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Adhere to all store policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong numerical ability, and attention to detail.
- Attributes: Friendly, reliable, honest, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
