Job Summary
** Please note: Bilingual in Spanish Required **
Under the direction of the Assistant Principal, this position is part of the school-based Wellness Team and supports the Wellness Center by greeting and triaging students, liaising with community providers, providing organizational support for Wellness-related services, and assisting with documentation and data collection. In addition, this position also tracks students' insurance coverage and supports all site-eligible providers with medical billing.
Requirements / Qualifications
Training and Experience:
* One year of experience working in a school or medical office. An associates degree can be substituted for experience.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience with computers including but not limited to: word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
* Prior experience with wellness or school-based health centers is highly desirable.
Licenses and Requirements:
* Valid California Driver's License
* Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (District can provide training)
