Launched in 2023, Integrated Services creates and markets new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services allow Ford’s retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicles like never before with OTA (over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing leadership at the forefront of connected, digital platforms that will revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function, the way people interact with them, and the value those vehicles provide.

Key Areas of Focus

  1. Lead our retail automotive subscriptions sales group, managing operations in/around vehicle software and services.
  2. Responsible for driving both online and offline sales channels to drive sales targets and grow our subscriptions business.
  3. Focus on driving the conversion of freemium product or point of sale subscriptions within the retail automotive industry ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

In this position…

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Digital Retail Sales to lead our retail automotive subscriptions sales group, focusing on in/around vehicle software and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving digital sales, online sales, salesforce campaigns, and the conversion of freemium or point of sale subscriptions within the retail automotive industry.

What you’ll do…

  1. Develop and execute Ford Integrated Services digital sales strategies to drive subscription sales for software and services within the retail automotive sector.
  2. Consolidated and Centralized management of all digital campaigns to our end customers, products, bundling, conversion, integration through the call center and our retail automotive subscriptions sales group.
  3. Utilize data-driven insights and market trends to optimize sales performance and customer engagement.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with stakeholders to drive sales opportunities and strategic alliances.
  5. Collaborate with Segment General Managers and other internal teams to develop annual/quarterly business plans and report against jointly agreed to KPI’s.
  6. Own sales reporting and post-mortems across channels while building a deep understanding of sales attainment to forecasts, alongside a view of insights (what is working/not working, future recommendations).

The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving retail digital sales within the automotive sector, combined with a deep understanding of software subscriptions and the retail automotive buying experience. You’ll have…

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience driving digital marketing and sales for complex global organizations.
  2. 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required.
  3. Demonstrated success in customer-centric consultative sales and digital development delivering results and converting opportunities into sales successes.
  4. Strong experience in software subscription sales, with a deep understanding of subscription-based business models, bundling, and sales strategies.
  5. Experience developing marketing strategy and executing on a demand generation/growth marketing plan.
  6. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve exceptional results.
  7. Excellent program management skills and experience, including work prioritization and planning dealing with multiple decision-makers, stakeholders, and channels.
