Position Summary:
Provides administrative support to the department head as well as supporting the department.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support primarily using Microsoft Suite software
- Prepare spreadsheets utilizing v-lookups, formulas and other Excel functions for meetings, departmental research and sales support
- Prepare Powerpoint presentations for departmental, sales and licensor meetings
- Proofread data in catalogs and other sales support materials
- Submit documents and images in a variety of databases
- May participate in brainstorming meetings and assist with online research
Experience, Competencies, and Education:
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and complete assigned tasks on a timely basis. Must have flexibility in adjusting to multiple demands. Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail. Effective written and oral communication skills including strong proof-reading skills. Data entry experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Internet navigation skills required. Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
