Peace Hospital, part of UofL Health, is a private, non-profit behavioral health hospital. One of the largest behavioral health facilities in the nation, Peace Hospital is known for providing care for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults, age 55 and older.
It’s Kosair Charities Children’s Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country. The hospital was the nation’s first behavioral health care center to open a retail pharmacist operated, long-acting injection clinic. The clinic was established to help people adhere to prescribed medications for behavioral health conditions, such as substance use and psychotic disorders.

Job Summary
This Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical behavioral health and/or substance use services to children, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients and families. Services include group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, psychoeducation, discharge planning and coordinating with community, government and/or other behavioral health agencies for aftercare services.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health or human services related field
- Licensure and Certifications Current certification as a Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (MFTA), Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor Associate (LCADCA), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)
- Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation
- BLS required from American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications: Two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or human service setting
