Job Description - Cart Driver (220103) ****Cart Driver - **Job Number:**220103 **Organization**: CART **Job Location**: Oklahoma-Norman-Norman Campus **Schedule**: Full-time Work Schedule : Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Work schedule will vary within hours of operation. Will be required to work on some Saturdays. Salary Range : $14.75/hr Benefits Provided : Yes Required Attachments : None **Job Description**- - - Responsible for providing bus service around the University of Oklahoma Norman Campus, City of Norman, and possible trips to OKC. Performs tasks requiring good organizational skills. Performs other related duties as assigned.**Job Requirements**- - - **Required Education:** GED/High School Grad OR an equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:* 12 -24 months transportation/vehicle experience.**Skills**:* Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English* Good customer service skills with sensitivity to customer needs.**Certifications**:* Valid Oklahoma State Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).* Air Brake & Passenger Endorsement.* Ability to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) medical Examiner's Certificate.**Advertised Physical Requirements:*** Ability to physically push a manual wheelchair up an incline/ramp when required. Ability to manually deploy mechanical lift or ramp for passengers with special needs when necessary. Ability to sit for extended periods of time & drive with limited rest breaks.**Departmental Preferences:*** Valid CDL License with Passenger endorsement & Air Brakes.* Previous driving experience with a public transportation system.* Ability to speak and understand Spanish.**Supervision:** No Supervisory Duties**Special Instructions:*** If you are selected as a final candidate for this position, you will be subject to The University of Oklahoma Norman Campus Tuberculosis Testing policy.
