We are seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Incident Responders who can support our customer in the detection, response, mitigation, and reporting of cyber threats affecting the client networks.

This position requires support during assigned shifts, including nights/weekendsEligibility:

Must be a US CitizenMust have an active TS/SCI clearance.Must be able to obtain Client Suitability prior to starting employment10+ years of directly relevant experienceResponsibilities Include :

Provide 24 x 7 watch supporting continuous monitoring and incident response for hybrid cloud/ on-prem customer networksProvide support in the detection, response, mitigation, and reporting of cyber threats affecting client networksMaintain an understanding of the current vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation strategies used in cyber security operationsProduce reports and briefs to accurately depict the current threat landscape and associated risk based on customer, community, and open-source reportingProvide analysis for correlated information sourcesFacilitate the customer's posturing itself to aggressively investigate cyber activity targeting customer information and its information infrastructuressist the customer training department in the education of staff on the cyber threatServe as a liaison with other government cyber threat analysis entities, such as intra-agency and inter-agency Cyber Threat Working GroupsMaintaining proficiency in the use and production of visualization charts, link analysis diagrams, and database queriesnalyze and report cyber threats as well as assist in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating, and analyzing computer network intrusionsMeet and maintain customer-required Information Assurance training complianceOversee the training of newly assigned analysts

Required Skills:

5+ years leading incident response teams in a SOC or CSOC environmentsMust pass internal qualification requirements within specified time constraintsHands-on experience in a SOC performing the detection, response, mitigation, and/or reporting of cyber threats affecting client networks and one or more of the following:

Experience in computer intrusion analysis and incident responseKnowledge and understanding of network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architecturesStrong experience with Cyber Security Incident Response trainingCurrent experience with network intrusion detection and response operations (Protect, Defend, Respond and Sustain methodology)Experience with current cyber threats and the associated tactics, techniques, and procedures used to infiltrate computer networksMITRE Adversary Tactics, Techniques and Common Knowledge (Telecommunication&CK)

Desired Skills:

Experience with Cloud-based securityExperience in computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recoveryPrior experience with SIEM Technologies (i.e. Splunk, ArcSight, etc.)Scripting experience (python, perl etc...)Prior experience with data visualization products such as Analyst NotebookDesired Certifications (at least 2) : Technical CND Incident Reporter Certification (CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GNFA) DoDI 8570.01-M 8570.01-M IAT Level I Compliant Certification (Network + CE, A+ CE, CCNA + Security, SSCP)Required Education : BS Incident Management, Operations Management, Cybersecurity or related degree.
