The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who motivates and pushes the team to do better. You should be a detail-oriented person with the ability to work under the pressure that comes with managing a team. The ideal candidate must be a quick thinker to come up with solutions to various issues as well as recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate must also have a enthusiastic style of leadership to keep the team moving forward. Key ResponsibilitiesProvides input to strategic decisions by contributing information tostrategic plans and reviewsEvaluates, analyses, and reports on the quality programDevelops and manages against QA budgetCreates a strategic vision, matures, and directs quality assurancepolicies, program, and initiativesDevelops, implements, enforces, and improves upon quality standards,tools, and methodologiesPromote and ensure continual service improvement occurs, and data-based process improvements are implemented for existing QA processesDefines and documents quality policy, process, and proceduresManages all quality assurance functionsDevelops QA staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employeesEngage in the overall Project Lifecycle methodology to inform appropriate data quality and testing considerations are part of the process and templates are availableEvaluate and cross trains on integration of technical systems andend-to-end data flows to ensure appropriate level of testingWorks with cross department leadership tp deliver high quality productsand services on scheduleManages and promotes good working relationships acrosscross-functional teamsResearch, champions, and recommends industry best practicesPre-Requisites20+ years of experience with at least 12+ years of experiencemanaging a QA team.Excellent leadership skills with an enthusiastic style of leading. Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills.Industry certification(s) (i.e. ITIL, Six Sigma, etc.)Experience in planning and executing end to end testing of integratedsystems including validation of the integration layerExperience working with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies Expertise in performing different types of testing : Black box, Regression,End-to-End and User Acceptance TestingStrong negotiation and problem-solving skills.Desirable SkillsAbility to "talk shop" with industry experts.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in ahigh-pressure environmentRobust analytical skills for both existing processes andidentifying areas of opportunityDemonstrated leader in the coordination of cross-functionalteams and champion of consistency and task completionTangible examples of Thought Leadership.Quick thinkerExperience and Academic QualificationsAt minimum, a B.A. or B.S. in a relevant field of studyAdvanced degree, or MBA.
