Job Description:
Perform daily backup operations and replication on local/DR site.Work to provide storage solutions for efficient and safe data backup.Plan, deploy and administer the backup system hardware and software.Configure backup clients/install agents/monitor the backup jobs.Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup/restore, performance tuning and configuration of environments.Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients.Configuration of backup solution on requested servers. Performing standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual machines.Handling backup failures and resolve within defined SLA.Backup Capacity monitoring and reporting.Work on Disaster recovery planning/execution.
