VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking Information Technology (IT) Specialists to work in Ft. Meade, MD. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will perform complex analyses, management information support and evaluation of financial and/or administrative requirements.

Position Requirements

Able to apply information technology skills to support program development and execution. Provide support in the oversight, management, and compliance with DISA’s Cyber Security program. Draft and/or prepare and maintain security Assessment and Authorization documentation (e.g., IA SOP, SSP, etc.). Ensure system security measures comply with applicable Government policies. Provide configuration management and accurately assess the impact of modifications and vulnerabilities for each system. Conduct reviews and technical inspections (as prescribed by the Lead ISSM) to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses and ensure that all security features applied to a system are implemented and functional.

In addition to the above requirements IT Specialists also:

Level II

Assist lead ISSM in monitoring and resolving Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to mitigate system vulnerabilities on assigned Information Systems.

Maintains thorough knowledge of current and ongoing Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and cyber security standards to include the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A standards.

Maintain day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of IS including security event log review and analysis.

Level III

Provide support of formal IA/Cyber security reviews and technical inspections to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses and ensure that all security features applied to a system are implemented and functional.

Provide support in the review of artifacts, deliverables, and work content for accuracy and ensures compliance with Government direction and established timelines. May manage workload and Tasks to Vendor personnel to ensure correct level of complexity is assigned to the proper level of expertise.

Assist lead Government ISSM in monitoring and resolving Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to mitigate system vulnerabilities on assigned Information Systems.

Maintains day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of IS including security event log review and analysis.

IT support may include related duties under the direction of Government management concerning: installation; operation; diagnostics, related software; and configuration of systems, and/or peripheral equipment.

Activities related to design, configuration, installation and experience in computer/IT networks and collaborative systems may occur across IT systems, data centers, or networks to enhance services, performance, or replacement/upgrades to augment characteristics or security of systems may occur in addition to supporting independent systems or system-of-systems.

Position Qualifications

Level II

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, etc. Extensive experience in the required discipline can serve as substitution for Bachelor's Degree requirements. Experience: 4+ Years in computer-related technology, networks, IT architecture and design. Without Bachelor’s Degree, 6+ Years in computer-related technology, networks, IT architecture and design.

Level III

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in the required discipline can serve as substitution for Bachelor's Degree requirements. Experience: 6+ Years in computer-related technology, networks, IT architecture and design. Without Bachelor’s Degree, 8+ Years in computer-related technology, networks, IT architecture and design.

Government executives utilize VISTA for information technology, management consulting, decision support systems and a broad portfolio of analytical services.

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

For this position, VISTA will consider only applicants with Secret security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
