The Analyst is responsible for crafting and analyzing international and domestic freight metrics within North America (NA) geo including shipping costs, performance metrics, and forecasting. This role is critical to ensuring that North America Transportation uses analytics to optimize marketplace service and efficiency and supports the Digital First Supply Chain strategy. The Insights Analyst partners closely with other NA Trade & Transportation (T&T) teams to provide access to key operational metrics, supports sourcing events and works closely with NA Finance team to support annual freight spend forecasting and reporting.What you will work on* Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify key insights and opportunities to improve the end-to-end transportation network* Work cross-functionally to build and maintain standardized, regular performance management reports and critical metrics (carrier scorecards, operational performance, Call for Routing reporting, etc.)* Support case analysis and implementation tracking to ensure benefits are robust and mutually exclusive across business segments* Provide detailed volume/spend analytics to support LSP team during recurring sourcing events and recommend vendor selection/allocation* Develop and maintain centralized Transportation-related data consumption and reporting layers* Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic top-to-top discussions with both key internal and external partners (e.g strategic customers, carriers/vendors, and internal leadership)* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field* 2+ years of analytics experience* Winning attitude and drive to tackle complex problems in a creative way* Descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics experience with complex, unrefined data using a variety of analytical and statistical toolsets, examples include Excel, SQL, or other BI Tools* Experience conducting root cause analysis to pinpoint variances, and recommend solutions to avoid variances in the future* Ability to lead contending priorities in an ambiguous environmentNIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
