MORSE is looking for a Co-op IT Specialist to join our team of talented IT Professionals. Do you enjoy getting hands-on with technology? Do you enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems? In this role you will assist with IT tasks and projects, including implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting a variety of technology as part of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a love of technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT Helpdesk ticket supportOnboarding of new employeesManage Poly VTC SystemsAssisting with new system implementationSystem troubleshootingHelping to configure, manage and maintain Linux and Windows serversAssist with IT projects and upgrades, including planning and project rollout supportBecoming familiar with IT security and data protectionRequirements:US Citizenship RequiredWorking towards a BS or BA degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subjectFamiliarity with MacOS X, Linux and Windows Operating Systems.Understanding of Networks.Experience working with virtual machines and containers.Experience with shell scripting on *nix systems.
