Education and Experience Requirements:
A master's degree in social work or a related field, and relevant certifications Valid Social Work License issued by the New Mexico Social Work Examiners Board Proven experience in social work, including case management and program development. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and best practices. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and resources related to social work services. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to address various challenges in social work practice. Proficiency in relevant computer applications and record-keeping systems.

Salary:
Twelve months (234 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the Coordinator Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be Permanent. Reference: Alamogordo Public Schools Salary and Work Day Calendar
Conditions of Employment:
Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee's Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District's expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.
