Position

The Senior-level Database Administrator will work with software and determine ways to organize and store data. If you can take on the responsibility to create, maintain, back up, query, tune, and provide user rights administration, you could be a great fit for this position!What You'll Do

Identifies user requirements for business and mission databases, sets-up, tests and coordinates necessary modifications to database systemsUnderstands the platform on which the database runs and ensures the performance of the database systemPlans and coordinates security measures -data integrity, backup systems, and database securityProvides technical expertise in the use of the Database Management System (DBMS)Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applicationsOversees the work of Mid-, and Junior-level contractor DBAsAssists with managing database projectsCoordinates changes, tests, and provides implementation approaches for databases and database management systemsPlans, coordinates, and recommends security measures to safeguard databasesWhat You'll Need

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Senior level experience as a Database AdministratorSenior-level working experience in database administrationOne or more of the following certifications:

IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2 10.1 for Linux, Unix and WindowsIBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 10.1 for Linux, Unix, and WindowsOracle Database 12c Administrator Certified ProfessionalOracle MySQL 5.6 Database Administrator Certified ProfessionalMCSA SQL Server 2012MCSE Data Platform Solutions

Nice if You Have
