as a Senior-Level Software Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge software solutions for complex applications. Key Responsibilities:Mentorship : Guide and inspire Mid-Level and Junior-Level software engineers in designing, developing, maintaining, and documenting software requirements while ensuring traceability to solution architecture and objectives.Analysis and Improvement : Collaborate with the team to analyze user requirements, procedures, and challenges, with the aim of automating or enhancing existing software systems.Innovation : Assist in making high-level design choices and defining technical standards, encompassing software coding practices, tools, and platforms.Prototyping : Be at the forefront of technology by creating prototypes to evaluate and implement new, cutting-edge technologies.Skills and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program.Extensive senior-level experience in government or industry, with a strong background in areas such as cloud computing, service orientation, containerization, micro-services, API development, or DevSecOps.Proven experience in delivering working products to customers within a modern, cloud-based software environment. Expertise in Client-Server architecture and managing MySQL database operations in a web environment.Proficiency in:JavaJavaScriptJSP (JavaServer Pages)HIBERNATETOMCATHTML 5CSS
Desired:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
