Job Requirements include:* Prepares and packs customer orders for shipment* Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor* Inspects metal and counts pieces* Packs metal according to printed customer specifications* Ensures correct count of pieces is displayed on packed bundles* Works in 2-person teams to handle heavy packing jobs* Performance is measured against established productivity goals* Maintains clean and orderly workplace* Observes safety rules and practices; reports and unsafe acts or conditions to supervisorMinimum Requirements:* Able to read tape measure and count pieces.* May be required to work flexible hours or overtime, including weekends.Personal Protective Equipment Requirements:* Ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, long pants, steel-toed shoes (reimbursed up to maximum shoe allowance after probationary period)* Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor.* Must be able to lift 50lbs.Must have flexible schedule and weekends are required.
