** Material Handler Day Shift****Job Category****:** Injection Molding **Requisition Number****:** MATER001967 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Summary:**The material handlers responsibility is to support molding manufacturing operations, warehouse, and inventory management through issuing and returning raw materials to and from staging, operations, and warehouse. The material handler is a key player in maintaining continuous and efficient manufacturing and warehouse operations.**Responsibilities:*** Prepare issue and return raw materials, components, and packaging to the staging area on timely basis per dispatch.* Compound and Blend colorants with base resin, utilizing material tumbler, scale and at time manually mixing and perform line clearance on material dryers at the end of their use per quality system process.* Reconcile (including correct material count), document and return unused raw materials, intermediate finished components and packaging to the warehouse for restocking upon job completion within ERP* Complete all applicable documentation.* Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting and verification of inventory within Epicor ERP or other systems.* Backup to production operators.* Other duties as assigned.**Basic qualifications:*** Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience.* Basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions and decimals).* Good written and verbal communication skills.* Basic computer skills.* Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.**Preferred qualifications:*** Experience with an ERP system.* Previous experience with plastic molding and resins.* Forklift experience.**Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Licenses & Certifications**
