**Description***Position at Swift Prepared Foods***Experienced Forklift Operators - $15.85 per Hour - 2nd Shift positions available**Swift Prepared Foods wants you to join our team of Essential Workers!**When you join the Swift Prepared Foods Team y****ou will receive these great benefits and so much more!*** **Weekly Pay (every Friday)*** **Excellent work/life balance** (12-hr shifts with rotating 4 days on 3 days off)* **Benefit Options (after just 60 days) -** Health, Vision, Dental, and More! for you and your family!* **Paid Holidays*** **8 days PAID vacation** (after just 1 year)***Primary Focus for forklift operators:***Unload product and ensure all quantity and quality requirements are met, all paperwork matches, and all receiving requirements are met according to the receiving record.**Duties and Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:**- Check and record receiving documents.- Observe the cleanliness of the truck.- Replace any defecting bar codes or labels.- Notify the supervisor of any damages, shortages, or discrepancies.- Properly slot product according to the Put Away function on the RF scan gun.- Knows and demonstrates 6S principles.**Back up Responsibilities:*** Puller/Stager**Work Environment/Physical Demands:**Lifting, stacking and working in a cold environment.**Requirements:**Ability to operate a pallet jack and a forklift.Ability to lift and stack/load product onto pallets2 + years of forklift experience required.
