Job Title: Business Intelligence Engineer IILocation: Seattle WA

Pay rate range: $58/hr. to $60/hr. on w2.

Job Description:Client is changing the way customers around the world consume video entertainment by offering - in every country - the broadest selection of premium video within a single experience, accessible across all devices. The mission of International Expansion Business Intelligence team is to drive marketing, product and content decisions that improve customer experience by providing analytical solutions and actionable insights across three lines of business - SVOD, Channels and TVOD. To help us fulfill this mission, we are seeking a competent, curious, resourceful, and experienced Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer to develop new insights about our customers, help grow our business globally, and create innovative and engaging customer experiences. The team presents an exciting opportunity to work on very large data sets in one of the world's largest data warehouse environments.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer on the team, you will work closely with cross-functional counterparts in engineering, product management, content acquisition, finance, marketing, and merchandising to drive strategic decisions using data science and analytics.

Key job responsibilitiesDefine key metrics thoroughly understanding data streams; act as an analytics subject matter expert and manage through obstacles to achieve program objectivesPartner with business stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.Define the structure of our reporting mechanisms and dashboards for key metrics to illustrate and communicate organizationally on the progress against goalsUtilize database and reporting technologies, including SQL, ETL, Redshift, Tableau etc. to design and develop impactful analyses, insights and automated reporting.Work with team to execute the full analytics development lifecycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery, support, and maintenance.

Basic qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Data Science or a related field • 2+ years of experience with Analytics/Data Science/BI space • Experience with SQL • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs

Preferred qualifications• Master's Degree in Information Science, Data Science or a related field • Proven ability to solve complex quantitative business challenges • Verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including experience to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. • Experience in marketing analytics, statistics and design of experiments, data manipulation.
