Senior Developer - Fixed Income Fixed Income Technology team is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with expert knowledge in building dynamic, responsive, and interactive web applications. As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to drive the development of our next generation web apps used by portfolio managers, traders, and research analysts.
ResponsibilitiesDrive the development of web apps, deliver the front-end solutions, and collaborate with back-end engineers on designing the supporting REST APIsEnsuring high performance on mobile and desktop.Own front-end components and drive continual expansion, reuse, and improvement across the boardCollaborate with the stakeholders, the users and development team to implement state-of-the-art user experiences.Translate requirements into wireframes, and conceptual designs into high quality, visually appealing, and intuitive user interfaces and experiencesActively perform code reviews and help evolve our code review guidelines to ensure quality code is shippedKeep abreast with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.Mentor other engineers on a variety of topics like front-end development practices, UI/UX best practices, etc.
Qualifications
Proven front-end development experience building enterprise grade applications.Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON.5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Vue or equivalent.Demonstrated success developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate data access, business logic, and workflow.Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience developing on Azure or AWS is a plusExperience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plusStrong desire to learn new thingsStrong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skillsStrong sense of professional pride and individual accountability
