We are seeking Software Engineers capable of developing CPU intensive physics-based algorithm development, modeling and simulation, and Reinforcement Learning (RL) methods. Experience working in a collaborative environment with configuration management and version control tools is also desired.

Requirements
Candidates for the Software Systems Engineer position should have a strong background in engineering, computer science, physics, and/or mathematics combined with strong programing skills.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in an Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science programProgramming familiarity in C++, MATLAB, or PythonStrong problem-solving/analytical skillsAble to work independently on projects toward common team goalsGood communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsDesired areas of experience:
Artificial Intelligence: Course, project, and professional experience with Deep Reinforcement Learning (RL)Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering Principles (e.g. Software Defined Radios, Radar systems, Antenna Design, Electronic Warfare)Estimation Theory: Tracking, Fusion, Correlation methods (e.g. Bayes Theory, Kalman Filters, particle filters)Software: Docker, KubernetesSimulations: AFSIM, NGTSWE OFFER AN EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PACKAGE!

The posted pay range values provide the candidate with guidance on annual base compensation for the position, at a full time level of effort, exclusive of overtime, bonus, and benefits-related compensation, over a range of qualifications that may fit hiring objectives. Toyon Research Corporation will consider the individual candidate's education, work experience, applicable knowledge, skills and training, among other factors, when preparing an offer of employment.
