We are proud of our culture of innovation and our focus on quality.**GEL Solutions Technical Support Specialist**GEL has a position open for a senior level **Technical Support Specialist**.**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:*** Provide training and oversee Company transition from Bentley Microstation select series software to Bentley OpenRoads Designer.* Develop and maintain Company SOPs for cadd and other processes as assigned.* Administer user training and maintain Bentley contracts for GES.* Assist in development and maintenance of Company reporting programs and spreadsheets. This may include records and reports for business development activities.* Maintain computer hardware and software inventory.* Monitor technical publications and online resources to keep track of market trends.* Attend trade organization meetings and conferences as required.* Serve as a positive representative of the company and its core values.* Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and professional ethics.* Perform other technical and administrative duties as assigned.**Education Required:**Bachelors or Associates degree in applicable field (preferred) and/or demonstrated senior-level professional experience in a similar role.**Experience/Skills Required:*** Working knowledge of Bentley CADD products more particularly Microstation, connect, Geopak and Openroads designer.* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe)* Previous experience with surveying/engineering/geophysical firms preferred* Proven excellent writing, editing, and document production skills with a high level of attention to detail and independent resourcefulness* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills* Ability to travel* Ability to train, lead, and work as part of a team* Must exhibit a positive and professional approach to clients and company staff* Possess high ethical standards and the Core Values of the GEL Group**What We Offer:*** Corporate values that promote respect, integrity, and innovation* Competitive compensation* Commitment to safetyThis Position Description is intended to provide a general guideline of the requirements, duties, and responsibilities this position.
