Duties: The Power Apps Developer will work on the SHA Business Intelligence team on various projects performing MS Power Platform/Power Apps application development tasks. The developer will work on projects developing new SHA applications including Transportation Alternatives application, knowledge management applications, Consumable Inventory applications, and support of various Highway Design applications. The developer will also help build Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines of best practices for the SHA Client teams to utilize as more Power Apps are developed. Other projects will be assigned as projects are initiated.Technical Requirements:Microsoft Power Apps development/build, configuration, and troubleshootingMicrosoft Power Apps certificationMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred experience with Power Platform CoEPreferred experience was a Microsoft Power Platform AdministratorGood experience in the development of business process and approval flowsGood experience working on relational databases such as: Azure SQL, as well as Azure Data Lake, Azure File System with Power AppsGood experience in integration with multiple sources such as OData service, Azure SQL DB and Common Data Services using flow/logic appsDemonstrable experience in embedding Power Apps in SharePoint and custom applicationsGood experience of Power Apps security capabilities, including role-based authorizationGood experience in SharePoint Online and SharePoint designer workflowExperience in C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST and ODataExperience in developing web applications using AngularAbility to understand complex systems and think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.Be a team player and passionate about championing the team to continuously refactor and improve to deliver a quality software product.Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Master's Degree is preferred.General Experience: Seven (7) years of experience as a MS Power Apps Developer.Specialized Experience: Five (5) years' experience using MS Power Apps platform. Two (2) years of Share Point Developer or .NET Development experience can be substituted for two (2) years of MS Power Apps.
