Ideally, a hands-on data engineer who possesses a strong passion for designing, optimizing, refactoring, and upgrading complex data solutions! We need someone who can help us architect and model new databases (using multiple technologies; AWS and Neo4j Graph Database), design and code ETLs, and implement automated data pipelines.Required Experience (Must Have)
Strong AWS Experience (Minimum three years’ experience)Lambda Functions - Python PreferredGlue and ScalaStep Functions / State Machines and Control FlowECS/ECR AWS ContainerizationAWS Storage Services - EC2, S3 preferredAutomation - AWS Data Pipeline experience requiredStrong ETL Experience(Minimum two years’ experience)SSIS, Kettle, TalendGraph Database Experience(Minimum three years’ experience)Neo4j preferredGraph / Database Modeling Experience RequiredSQL Server Development experienceStrong Modeling Experience requiredExperience with complex transformations and working with large data setsExperience with Data Lakes in AWSExcellent communicator, Quick learner, technical evangelist
Helpful Experience (Nice to Have)
Experience in Git and Azure DevOpsExperience in Linux and ContainersExperience in DevOpsExperience in Data Warehouse / Data Lake (preferred)Experience in Data Testing and Quality Analysis
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze large, and complex, data setsDesign, develop and oversee the generation of ETL data pipelinesModel complex data sets in Relational or Graph technology (Neo4j preferred)Provide technical leadership in database and data-related workEnsure architecture and design of the solution is in alignment with overall enterprise architecture
