Juniper-Mist is looking for passionate engineers to help us enhance and improve location products and services. As a QA engineer at Juniper-Mist, you will assist with testing, validating, reporting bugs, and collecting data in progressing location project efforts. You will help reproduce customer issues and bring quality assurance to the table with your stamp.Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a location and zoom/teams regression testbed and test clients.
Work with Sr. engineer to develop location test plan and test cases.
Execute location and zoom/teams test plan and test cases and document results. Consistently perform QA smoke and sanity tests before/after production pushes.
Collect location data for developers to debug/enhance location efforts.
Understand how location works and be able to recognize when location isn’t working as expected.
Understand Machine learning on a basic level in being able to recognize location problems to machine learning.
File Jira tickets on failed test cases and bugs found.
Learn to use internal tools to debug issues, and work with developers to address each ticket.
Assist with improving and/or creating documentation.
Join related QA meetings and participate in discussions and provide weekly status reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Has an organized and detail-oriented personality.
Has a mature attitude and is passionate about learning.
Comfortable working with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of location technologies and/or python is a plus.
BA/BS/MS in EECS or related discipline
Experience level: 0~2 years.
Minimum Salary: $120,000.00
Maximum Salary:$172,500.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $120,000.00 and $172,500.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
