Selectek has an opportunity for a talented and motivated Network Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality network solutions. This is an exciting contract-to-direct opportunity, offering the chance to build a long-term career with us! You'll have the flexibility to choose your work location from Tucson, AZ, Omaha, NE, or Atlanta, GA.Note: You must be authorized to work for any employer in the USA to be considered.What You'll Do:
Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex wired and wireless networks for enterprise environments.Partner with pre-sales teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.Provide advanced support to network technicians, escalating issues as needed.Offer technical assistance to help desk personnel.
We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.A CCNA or CWNA certification (preferred).Proven experience deploying and managing Ruckus Wireless equipment in production environments.Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
Bonus Points for:
In-depth understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.Mastery of IPv4, including subnetting.Expertise in 802.11 WiFi and RF fundamentals.Experience with network services like NTP, DNS, and DHCP.Familiarity with low-latency applications for voice and video.Knowledge of IPv6 addressing.Experience managing Brocade ICX Series switches in production environments.A background working with industry-standard wired and wireless solutions from Cisco, HP (Aruba), etc.Experience using network monitoring platforms that leverage SNMP, syslog, OpenFlow, S-Flow, etc.
