Job Summary

This internship position will support the US Services Business Relationship Management (BRM) team. Business relationship management fosters positive relationships that drive value and positively impact people and economic value. BRMs serve as a strategic interface between IT and the Business to stimulate, surface, and shape business demand for IT services and capabilities. The BRM is a connector, orchestrator, and navigator for both the Business and IT.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:• Acquires knowledge of active systems and applications through participation in discussions with Lines of Business and IT• Works with Business Operations and IT staff to gather information; polls Business Leaders to collect specific data as directed by management• Extracts, analyzes, and reports data to support program activity and management decision making• Assists in gathering and organization of data for forecasting potential new work• Updates and maintains records (spreadsheets, databases, etc.) related to business proposal activity as well as active projects• Assists in preparation of communications for Business Leadership on new upcoming processes, tools, and applications that will impact their projects; gathers information to help address questions or concerns• Helps direct IT related questions and concerns to the correct team(s)• Assists in creating reports and presentations for IT and Business Leadership• Attends meetings, assists in the development of meeting agendas, and helps record meeting minutes, as needed• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Position Requirements:Education Required: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university; with completion of 2 years of study

Skills / Knowledge Required: Proficient in PC usage. Strong Microsoft Excel and Teams skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong working relationship, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Skills / Knowledge Preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint. Knowledge of project and business operations, systems, processes, and workflows.

Abilities: Ability to perform analyses using spreadsheets. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline and detailed-oriented work environment. Ability to successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously; Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

Physical Effort: Heavy computer usage.Education and Experience Requirements
