Front Office eTrade & Pricing Developer

Position summary: Rates eTrading developer/technical BAEssential job duties:
Responsible for the development and support of the eTrading system for the Rates and Credit Trading desk. Major tasks include:• Writing functional specifications and working with the traders, vendors or the internal IT team to make sure that the solution provided meets the requirements.• Working with vendor (ION Trading) testing & deploying enhancements to the rates platform• Developing solutions for front office eTrading, form vendor product configuration, to architecture definition, inhouse integration component, monitoring• Act as a BA for the pricing systems (deriv and/or cash)• Provide L2 and L3 support for the eTrading activity
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience working with ION trading- Experience with Front Office functions (eTrading and pricing)- Experience with Rates products- IRS, Options, Fixed Income- bility to work in a demanding fast paced environment- bility to work with business and product leaders to understand their key drivers and help them understand how technology tradeoffs should influence their strategy.- bility to clearly document and communicate objectives, requirements and designs at these different levels of abstraction.- Excellent analytical skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Effective presentation skills- Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related area.- Self driven -- Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion and desire to learn
