Job DescriptionAEITS, a GTSC company, seeking a Software Engineer with 14 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Without a degree, four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Location:
Annapolis Junction / Fort Meade, Maryland area

Roles and Responsibilities:
Should have strong Java skills that includes knowledge of Hyperthreading/Multithreading Java, as well as:• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.• Working knowledge of wireless and telephony protocols in addition to strong hands-on engineering skills.• Working knowledge of Digital Multiplexers, Analog and Digital Signals, Voice/Vocoders, TDMs, Spread Spectrum, SONET/SDH/OTN, ETHERNET, PCM, VSAT, OSI Model and Computer to Computer (C2C) structure, protocols, and data such as: MPLS, Psuedowire, TDMop, ATM, Frame Relay, Cisco, Nortel, X.25, PPP, IP, TCP, UDP, VOIP, VOFR, and Fragmentation.10:10
