Clearance: SECRETThis is a Hybrid position, but remote work may be considered (within 2-hrs of LOCATION)Description:We are supporting our prime contractor and their U.S. Government customer on a large mission-critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment; including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer w/Java expertise to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities.Eligibility:

Must be a US CitizenMust have an active DoD SECRET clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceMust be able to obtain Client Suitability prior to starting employmentMust have 4+ years of directly relevant experienceMust have 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java development and related technologiesMust have 2+ years of experience with Agile software developmentResponsibilities:

Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity-oriented capabilitiesCreate intuitive interfaces and interaction layers using industry best practices, latest web trends/technologies and associated toolsWork with customers, testers, and administrators to develop, test, and deploy software buildsDeveloping high quality technical documentation, as needed, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable itemsProvide day-to-day operational support activities as well as strategic planning initiatives with Atlassian toolsAct as the SME for Atlassian tools, provide recommendations, and deploy sustainable architecture throughout multiple environmentsRequired Skills:

Experienced in the development lifecycle of supporting and customizing Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Align, Confluence) to meet the needs & demands of enterprise stakeholdersSolid understanding and hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systemsSolid understanding and working experience with cloud technologies, i.e. AWS, AzurePossesses or quickly develops a comprehensive understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelinesPossesses or quickly develops a general understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelines.Must be able to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locationsDesired Skills:

Technical understanding of account management and user authentication solutionsExperience with JavaScript, XML and SQLExperience and/or familiarity with Continuous Development / Continuous Integration concepts, and toolsExperience with integrations with cutting-edge technologies and cloud technologiesExperience working with HSPD-12Client experienceRequired Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or Computer Systems Engineering. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree-level educationDesired Certifications:DoD 8570.1 IAT Level IICertifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
