Responsibilities:
The SCCM Engineer 1 will support Barrow Wise's NYC Department of Social Services project, and perform the following duties:
Maintain, configure, and support desktop technologies in a distributed environmentMonitor the SCCM Status messages within the application and review/research any errors or warningsReview client status messages to verify that the client reports to the servers without any issuesReview CYBER reports to discuss the latest issues and vulnerabilitiesReview the SCCM infrastructures and discuss how to make them betterAssist in the meetings with developers and desktop support to discuss what features SCCM can bring to the groups to help with their tasksUpgrade SCCM Infrastructure to new hardwareImprove SCCM performance, to ensure that all sites are working optimally as we roll out more locationsUpgrade DHS' network and document network upgradesAssist in the discussions for proper patching of servers and desktops; utilize all tools.Deploy and test IntuneDocument SCCM infrastructures and proceduresReview SCCM Security and point out any fallaciesAssist with Cyber Vulnerability upgrades as well as research and implement the automatic deployment rules (ADRs) for browsers, Adobe, and other 3rd party toolsAssist in the Intune upgrade needed for laptop devices on the network and address any associated bug fixesWork on-site in NYCAn ideal candidate has the following:
U.S. CitizenshipBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field4 Years of knowledge and experience of the Microsoft SCCM system4 Years of knowledge of Microsoft Intune functional4 Years of experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems4 Years of knowledge of other operating systems similar to Apple Mac OS4 Years of experience with installation and troubleshooting Windows Applications4 Years of knowledge and experience troubleshooting various computer hardware and software issues4 Years of knowledge of SQL and programming languages and theories4 Years knowledge of Antivirus solutions and concepts4 Years of ability to troubleshoot various network and desktop issues
