About Us:Founded more than 15 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 450 people operating throughout North America and in Europe. Overview: We are looking for a Java Software Developer to help us expand, productize and optimize our trading software stacks (in particular our exchange stack and trading infrastructure).
Responsibilities:Participate in design, implementation, and deployment of trading systems and supporting applicationsWork on cross-functional teams across trading, quants and development to troubleshoot and solve complex problemsIntegrate and certify with exchanges and other third partiesMonitor production trading systems and optimize performance for latency and throughputRequirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or a related fieldExperience building performant, scalable applications in Java and/or C++Passion for learning, working with new technologies, and working on high-visibility projectsSolid understanding of object orientation, parallel programming, unit testing, and performance analysisExperience working in Linux and Windows environmentsHighly collaborative in nature with excellent written and verbal communication skills
