We are seeking a highly skilled Java Development Manager/Technical Project Manager to lead our team of developers and oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our Java-based applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities:Manage a team of developers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help team members achieve their goals.Experience designing and developing applications and/or systems using React, Core java/J2EE, Microservices framework, SOAP, REST, Web services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications.Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies.Ensure that applications are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software development and identify areas where new technologies could be applied to improve our software products.Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development projects.Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, as needed.The ideal candidate will have:
15 + years of IT experience.Strong Java technologies, Angular / ReactExperience in Java microservices, development experiencegile developmentVery good communication skillbility to present in leadership calls.Should have managed at least a team of 20+ people.
