TE08SALARY SCHEDULE: Click for Salary Schedule +Yearly Stipend -ranging from $3000-$15,000 commensurate with experiencePRIMARY PURPOSE;This position provides senior-level management and technical expertise in the analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise-level software applications, databases, and reporting.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification :

BS in Computer Science, or related area; or equivalent professional experienceFormal application-specific training is desirable5+ years software and reporting development experienceSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Senior-level working knowledge of MS SQL/Transact-SQL is requiredAdvanced experience with ASP.net, C#, VB.net, SSRS and Visual Studio desiredAbility to develop and maintain systems documentation and end user manualsExperience with various change and control management softwareAbility to detect and resolve problems in application softwarePossesses strong problem solving and analytical skills is requiredStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills?Must pay close attention to detail and be results orientedExperience with student information systemsExperience:

5+ years' experience with MS/SQL server database design and development5+ years' experience with software requirements, analysis, design, and programming5+ years' experience with report developmentMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Proficiency in MS/SQL server databases and be able to create tables, views, procedures, functions, SSIS packages, and jobsDevelopment of complex reports with multiple data connections to various data source types, real-time and on-demand drilling and sub reports, parameters, and dynamic groupingsWork directly with district departments and campuses to gather student application related specifications and develop solutions on a timely scheduleFunction as project lead to collect requirements, establish timelines, coordinate essential tasks and team members for any given projectCross Train within SIS group to ensure that all functions have appropriate backups in placeCreate, maintain, and update technical manuals and documentation for internally developed softwareServe as database administrator, ensuring integrity control and data security for various applicationsIdentify application-related problems and recommend solutionsResponds to users request for assistance (Help Desk tickets, phone, email)Instruct and train users during formal training classes on correct system usageCommunicates with vendors to resolve system issuesOther duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS:
