Job Description:The client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to support the Customer Service Division (CSD) across 5 functional areas including the Call Center, Billing, Revenue, Logistics, and Field Services.
Primary Duties:Create and maintain a dashboard using Power BICollect data from various sources to interpret, identify trends, summarize, illustrate, and succinctly report data findings and recommendations to achieve and maintain operational efficiencies.Help bridge the gap between data and decision making to assist executives with making strategically guided decisionsModel data using high-level conclusionsDemonstrate the ability to translate data into clear, actionable next steps for internal teamsServe as a trusted & respected business partner to all levels in the organizationEnsure compliance with all regulatory data sharing and privacy laws and regulationsCollaborate with Data Analyst and other team members as neededQualifications:
Minimum 4 years' experience in data analyticsWorking knowledge of data engineering principles: understanding how to store, manage, & retrieve large-scale data sets from multiple systems for analysis or operationsExperience working with varied, complex data sets, including statistics, surveys, sales, and operational dataProficiency in data analysis and visualization toolsPossess a higher level of computer proficiencyDemonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power BIStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insightsAbility to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiencesKnowledge and experience in government operations and utilities preferred
