WEI is looking for a candidate as a Lead Data Center Architect. The role is to work with clients for all their data center requirement's including planning, design, expansion, relocation, consolidation, power, space and connectivity. On-premise, hosted and cloud environments for business needs. Lead teams to achieve the customer's architecture and timeline goals.

Responsibilities :

Consult with clients on data center projects. Assist in design of new data center space including hardware selection (compute, network, storage), rack and cabling options, power assessments, space selection (colo, hosting, cloud, etc.). Create technical documentation of floorplans, inventory, connectivity, power consumption.

Consult on data center relocations, consolidations, migrations. Provide insight to application dependencies pertaining to move criteria, staged move phases, etc. Perform equipment audits. Provide documentation for staged moves. Assist project management to achieve an acceptable timeline and process.

Work with inside sales to define equipment required and configurations. Create and track milestones of projects and communicate with the client. Lead a team to execute projects in a timely professional manner.
