Job Description

Vector is seeking a Manager of Deltek Costpoint that will lead a team of IT professionals that support the Costpoint, Cognos, OnBase, TM1 and related system infrastructure. The IT Manager of Deltek Costpoint will serve as a thought leader in their space and inspire a team that provides critical support to our organization and clients.

This role will interface with senior management across the firm to develop and implement strategies that have a direct impact on process efficiency, compliance, and competitive capabilities for the company.

hybrid work arrangement is preferred, with the ability to be on-site in Rockville, Maryland 1-2 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with corporate Finance teams in understanding needs and developing solutions.Work with team members to maintain and upgrade the Costpoint systems, and related platforms.Coordinate and communicate closely with IT and business leaders across the organization on technology implementation and execution.Work with Costpoint and the underlying database, developing and revising procedures, queries, and reports.Lead efforts to develop new capabilities and applications and modernize existing features.Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures.Stay current with trends in information technology and advise on innovative technologies and solutions.Business and Staff Management:

deptly manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.Provide technical guidance, counsel, and direction for all individuals on the team, as needed, to resolve technical issues.Manage vendor relationships, develop strategic partnerships, and negotiate terms in the best interest of the organization.Provide coaching, leadership, and professional development for staff as well as annual performance reviews.Foster teamwork and collaboration across the Finance and IT groups.Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, accounting, finance, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience including project leadership experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior experience with Government contracting, nonprofit, or other highly regulated industry.Experience architecting and leading ERP implementations.Demonstrated technical experience with Deltek's Costpoint and time collection system.Oracle PL/SQL development and SQL reporting experience.Preferred Qualifications:

.NET development experienceExperience with server and/or database administration.Experience with IBM TM1 AnalyticsExperience with OnBase document management and workflow platform.Excellent communications and technical writing skills.Exercise good judgment and possess strong supervisory, problem solving and documentation skills.Creative in problem-solving, taking initiative, effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and working well in a team environment.
