Job Summary:The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Salesforce platform to meet the organization's needs. He /she has to remain current with the ever-changing Salesforce landscape and maintain a detailed understanding of the company's business processes. Work closely with the business leaders/stakeholders to identify and expand Salesforce usage and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:User Management:
* Create and manage user accounts, profiles, and permissions.* Provide user support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Customization and Configuration:
* Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules to align with business processes.* Create and maintain custom objects, workflows, and process automation.* Respond to the user requests and assist with developing solutions to address business needs
Data Management:
* Import, export, and maintain data using data loaders or other tools.* Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through data cleansing and validation.* Routine maintenance and data cleanup activities to maximize performance and minimize data loss or corruption
Integration:
* Integrate Salesforce with other systems, such as marketing automation tools or ERP systems.* Monitor data flows and troubleshoot integration issues.
Security and Compliance:
* Implement and enforce security policies and data access controls.* Stay updated on Salesforce security best practices and compliance regulations.
User Training and Documentation:
* Provide training to new users and create documentation and guides.
Automation:
* Develop and maintain automation processes using tools like Process Builder and Flow.
Collaboration:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions.* Work with Salesforce developers or consultants when necessary.
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience administering Salesforce and innovating or scaling in a similar, fast-based environment* Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience.* Salesforce certifications required:* Certified Administrator* Certified Advanced Administrator* Certified Platform App Builder* Strong understanding of Salesforce features and capabilities.* Proficiency in Salesforce customization, configuration, and data management.* Experience in training and process documentation* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Strong communication skills to work with various stakeholders.* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.* Knowledge of Salesforce best practices
Optional/Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).* Experience with Selenium* Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce (Salesforce development languages).* Experience with third-party Salesforce apps and integrations.* Project management skills for larger Salesforce projects.
