Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for collaboratively working with Product Manager, Product Owners on business initiatives to consult and advise on technical solution designs in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) program. Lead technical discovery with business stakeholders, problem solve business challenges balancing technology, identifying critical dependencies, team capabilities, operational supportability and quality assurance.
Develop and present technical proposals and POCs to government officials in a clear and compelling way and working with account program managers to tie solutions to program success criteria.
Capable if leveraging a wide set of software engineering disciplines to solution, lead development, troubleshooting with development teams, and improving quality assurance to deliver business value.
Passionate about problem solving and delivering value to stakeholders while leading and mentoring technical and functional resources.
Candidates will have the following responsibilities and skills:
• Experience in designing solutions for complex projects, customizable applications, and config- or data-driven features.• Research and Analyze Technology Alternatives for each Stack layer• Lead PoCs: Design, lead development and present POCs as needed to evaluate solution options to achieve desired outcomes• Create Architecture Patterns for Application Design, Scalability, Deployment, Cloud, Monitoring, Security and Infrastructure• Collaborate with other Solution Architects and development teams to understand customer requirements and identify changes needed to the Architecture Roadmap and Technical Services• Design, assess, and propose refinements to the Architecture Patterns, Code Quality Rules and Reusable Components• Acquire industry and product knowledge of New Technologies, Products, Patterns and Best Practices to ensure Technology Vision and Architecture Roadmap are best of class• Act in full partnership with the product, data and technology management teams in order to formulate product definition and roadmaps• Partner with other Solution Architects and Development teams to lead high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards• Act a subject matter expert on one or more areas of database design, big data, cloud deployment, microservices and integration• Partner with Development teams to provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions• Serve as advisor and mentor to mid-level developers and analysts
Required Skills:
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience in related area with at least 10 years of software engineering experience• You must be a great communicator• You must have experience working in Agile Development environments (Scrum, SAFe)• Strong programming skills with Java (8+), Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Data), Vert.x, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux.• You must have experience developing Microservices with Java Spring Boot• You must have a working knowledge of Kubernetes• You must have experience with ReactJS• You must have experience with AWS• Working experience in automated QA frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG• Working experience with Elastic• Extensive working experience with relational databases such as RDS, PostgreSQL or Oracle RDBMSEducation and Experience Requirements
