The Enterprise Architect works with the Information Technology Division (ITD) to implement strategies, design architectural solutions, and ensure alignment of technology to IT best practices and standards.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Enterprise Architect works with the Information Technology Division (ITD) to implement strategies, design architectural solutions, and ensure alignment of technology to IT best practices and standards. The Enterprise Architect's experience includes multiple technology roles across business areas to advance agency systems.

RESPONSBILITIES:• Assist with the review and evaluation of proposed technology solutions to ensure alignment of security, infrastructure, and system architecture to Enterprise standards.• Assist with the mapping of business requirements to the technology roadmap and vendor capabilities.• Assist the software development teams with the assessment of application and database issues and design of technical solutions.• Assist the Information Security and Infrastructure teams with network design and implementation, including adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.• Assist ITD leadership with the advancement of the Enterprise technology roadmap.

EDUCIATION / QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5-7 years of working in multiple technology domains.• Experience in converting business objectives into technology strategy.• Experience working in the delivery of cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).• Experience working with web and database technologies including .NET, Java, Oracle, and SQL Server.• Experience in the design and implementation of technology infrastructure, system integrations, and IT security practices.• Proficient using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Demonstrated experience in advancing cloud infrastructure technologies using cloud native services.• Experience implementing security controls including data encryption/masking and Identity Access Management (IAM) to protect sensitive data.• Experience in performing technology assessments/reviews for adherence to application development methodologies.• Experience defining technology roadmaps for cloud transformation, application modernization, and implementation of microservices.• Demonstrated experience working with .NET, Angular, REST, AWS, SQL Server, and Oracle.• Experience working with cybersecurity network monitoring tools.
