SimonComputing is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong systems, software, cloud, and Agile experience. You will work collaboratively with software developers to deliver high-quality software for the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) that sits within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will work on projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.
Position requires US citizenship.
Responsibilities
Will work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating within your scrum team on a daily basis.Analyze software requirements and provide solutions.Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions.Provide Full Stack software development support for User Interfaces, REST APIs, Data Access Layers.Ensure software developed passes and completes stages within the CI pipeline.Qualifications
Must be able to pass a DHS Suitability clearanceMinimum 4+ years Agile Software Development experienceProficient in Java Spring Boot and JPAProficient in Frontend UI development with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, React, Angular, VueProficient in developing data access layers with Database schemas using JPAExperience in Web Based Full Stack DevelopmentExperience developing in a Docker and Docker Compose environmentExperience writing automated test such as: unit, integration, functional, 508, performance, and end-to-end.Experience developing in environments that utilize CI/CD tools for build, test, secure and deployExcellent communication skillsStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsAbility to work remotely on a temporary basisDesired Skills/Experience
Experience working with AWS tools and environmentsExperience developing in a microservices architectureAutomated Test-Driven Development (ATDD)Experience with secure development, coding, scanning using tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, ZAP and Twistlock/AnchorePreferred experience with Jira or a similar scrum management toolExperience with Asynchronous messaging preferably with Kafka. Other tools/protocols such as JMS, AMQP, RabbitMQ acceptableExperience deploying microservices to Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift, EKS, AKSExperience developing Web Services using SOAP/XML and REST/JSONWriting queries with relational databasesWeb technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQueryExperience with database tools such as Liquibase, Flyway, ElasticSearch, Solr/LuceneExperience working with Jenkins Continuous integration tools and DevOps automationDHS/USCIS experience preferredSecurity Clearance : Must be a US Citizen and have or are able to attain a Government Agency Suitability Clearance.
